Lisa Poe - Owner/Director/Occupational Therapist

Lisa Poe is the owner and founder of A Focused Brain, LLC. Lisa has been a Occupational Therapist for over 25 years working with a wide variety of clients including ADD,Autism, Stroke, Dyslexia, Learning Disabilities, Brain Injury, Spinal Injury, MS and many other neurological and orthopedic diagnosis. She is a Certified Interactive Metronome Provider and a Certified Integrated Listening System Provider. She is also trained in Constraint Induced Therapy, Bioness H200, Saebo Splint and Hand Writing Without Tears And Hippotherapy.

Lisa is a speaker for Interactive Metronome traveling across the United States certifying other medical professionals in the use of Interactive Metronome. I addition she is the author of The Fall prevention booklet for Interactive Metronome.

Kelli Colley - Occupational Therapist
Kelli Colley is a Registered and Licensed Occupational Therapist who received her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Mississippi in 1992. She has 26 years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy, including the areas of inpatient rehabilitation, acute care pediatric treatment, and outpatient pediatrics. Kelli began her career at Children’s Rehabilitation Center where she soon was promoted to Assistant Director of Rehabilitative Services at Batson Children’s Hospital where she served in the role until retiring. Kelli has been part of A Focused Brain Team since 2015.

Kelli is married to Ken Colley and has two daughters, Anna Paige and Emma. The family has rescued and adopted three cats named Lola, Rosie, and Mimsy who have adapted well to their forever home. Kelli is currently the President of Germantown Band Boosters and has served on the Executive Committee there for the past three years. Anna Paige and Emma have been very involved in the band program at Germantown, playing flute and clarinet since they began middle school. Kelli’s hobbies include watching her children’s musical performances, reading, and traveling with her family.

Bryson Rial- Occupational Therapist
Bryson Rial is a Registered and Licensed Occupational Therapist who received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, where she played soccer and received various academic and athletic awards. After graduating from OBU, she attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center and attained a doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy in 2021. She began her career in a setting that offered various experiences in school-based therapy, upper extremity rehabilitation, acute care, neuro, and memory care. Her school-based experiences and educational experiences provided valuable opportunities to work with children with autism, ADD and ADHD, sensory integration dysfunction, and other various diagnoses. Bryson has a passion for helping children reach their potential with an emphasis on building their confidence in who God created them to be. Bryson has been part of the A Focused Brain team since February of 2022.
Bryson has three dogs whose names are Jax, Millie, and Rocky. Additionally, she rescued a cat and named her Posey. Bryson loves being a mom to all her pets! Bryson’s hobbies include traveling the country and hiking through God’s creation! She is always amazed and in awe of the beauty of nature! Bryson loves her family and enjoys spending as much time as she can with them. From her family, she has learned to value each moment and to always take time to let people know they are loved! She is so happy to be part of our treatment team and she is excited to help every family she gets the chance to meet!

Gina Sawyer - Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
Gina Sawyer graduated from the Holmes Community College Occupational Therapy Assistant program in
2003 with an Associates of Applied Science degree. She began her career treating geriatrics in a skilled
nursing facility. She also has experience in pediatrics working with children with autism, school settings,
and a clinic setting and also implemented a BCBS grant funded Therapeutic Recreation program at
Magnolia Speech School. She became a part of the team at A Focused Brain in 2019. She has training in
the “Handwriting Without Tears” program and has conducted a handwriting summer camp at A Focused
Brain.
Gina is married to Jason and has two sons and one daughter. They love spoiling their two dogs and cats.
They are in the process of adopting internationally and have a heart for foster care and adoption. Gina
enjoys homeschooling her children and her entire family is actively involved in children’s ministry, small
group leadership, and homeschool co-op at Parkway Church in Madison. They love going on Mississippi
adventures to explore unique locales within the state. Their favorite place to travel out-of-state is to
Florida to explore beaches and Florida’s natural springs. Gina and Jason enjoy assisting their children in
their extracurricular activities including archery, ballet, robotics, drama team and church activities.

John Poe, Office Manager
John is the office manger over the clinic and takes care of all the insurance, billing, marketing and payroll for A Focused Brain.

John has a background in sales and sales training in the pharmaceutical industry for over 18 years and with Hallmark Greeting Cards for over 8 years.. John is a graduate from the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Alabama. He is married to Lisa and they have one son who loves skydiving and is a commercial pilot. Our family are members of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Madison.
